Back on board.

When we get back on board we go to a wine tasting event. For $25.00 you can sample 6 wines and champagnes. It was presented to us as "oh you get to sample $200.00 bottles of wine and do pairing with lobster and such". Which sounds like "wow, yeah why not." 

It was fun to experience it however the most expensive one I think was around $138.00 and the pairings were minuscule little pates on a cracker which were cute. The lobster was a tiny little morsel on a cracker which was okay for all intent and purposes. I guess I had visions of lobster and wine floating around like in some over indulgent movie. The funniest part was a couple of a different nationality sitting next to us at a table of 8 and him with his accent commenting on everything and how horrible it was that they had all the wrong glasses and the wrong temperature etc.etc.  Of course we were all looking at each other like " is this guy for real?"  I don't think we knew any different and not being the experts really didn't care if we had the wrong glass facing the wrong direction with one too many bubbles and 1 1/15 of a degree too warm for any human to consume.  We were just there for the experience and to have a good time.
